Test transformers

EPRO Gallspach GmbH’s testing equipment is custom built to meet individual customer requirements. To provide an overview of the available options, below are some examples we have already implemented.

Dry-type transformers offer several advantages over oil-filled transformers:

• Reduced Fire Risk:
  Since there is no flammable oil present, the risk of fire is significantly lower. This is especially important for indoor installations or areas near flammable materials.                                                                                                                                                                                                                           
• Environmentally Friendly:
  There is no risk of oil leaks that could contaminate soil or groundwater.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
• Simpler Installation:
  Dry-type transformers are often more compact and lighter, making installation easier.

The dry insulated execution has its technical limits at approx. 30kV, out of this reason this execution is available only in smaller models.
