We are very proud to inform you about our latest development for PTB Germany:
A special 2- stage version of our standard voltage transformer.
This special standard VT (Type NVOD 10bc) is now being used as the new reference standard at PTB.
PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt) Germany, is one of the world’s leading metrology institutes and we are honored to support their work with our test bay equipment.

The test transformer for 250kV, with 25kVA (continuous) and 50kVA (short time use), former build in cascade execution, is now available in standard execution, as well.
Due to the compact design of the test transformer, it can be used in laboratories with lower ceiling hight as well. During the development of our “Endurance” test system for insulation materials, our R&D realized a test transformer with 1000Hz. Compared to our other transformers up to 400 Hz, we are glad to offer another dry insulated version with 1000 Hz, 20kV and 5kVA.
Further development of standard voltage transformer:
EPRO´s R&D department realized a further development of the standard voltage transformer NVOS 30 to a new type named NVOS 30bc.
Compared to the NVOS 30 the NVOS 30bc works with dual core (bi-core) concept and has a smaller voltage error value and nearly a linear error curve over the whole voltage measuring range.
Our long-time representative, Next Gen Equipments for the Indian region, invited us to the ELECRAMA trade show in India. Of course, we answered his call and presented our products at his well designed booth at ELECRAMA India.
