INSULATION TEST - Endurance

The Endurance system speeds up the aging of insulation materials.

The INSULATION TEST – Endurance system is the third testing system for insulation materials, complementing the INSULATION TEST -Tan Delta and INSULATION TEST – Premium.

This newly developed system enables accelerated aging of insulation materials.

Compared to conventional aging at 50 Hz, the INSULATION TEST – Endurance system increases the speed of the aging process by a factor of 20 through the use of high frequency excitation – up to 1000 Hz.

The system measures the time to dielectric breakdown, or terminates the test after a predefined duration.
