High current transformers
High current transformers are specialized units designed for the generation of high output currents at low secondary voltages.
They are specifically engineered to provide very low secondary voltage levels to facilitate high current flow.
The HCDT transformer series is housed in a robust steel enclosure. The secondary winding is segmented into multiple groups, allowing various current levels to be realized through series or parallel configuration of these winding groups. Configuration is achieved via switching plates positioned between the main terminals.
For finer current adjustment, tapping points with connection taps are provided. This setup enables fixed terminal connections on both the high current output and the mains input sides, regardless of switching operations.
Optionally, the transformers can be equipped with heavy duty castor wheels for enhanced mobility.
